Zsus ... and small studs

Zsus, here's something to encourage you ... little studs can still make the big time! I bet Nancy Dillman is "As nervous as can be" ... Sjoe! She must be popping a blood vessel as they wait breathlessly on the outcome of the big race tonight.
"Nancy Dillman of Anchorage, Ky., has only three broodmares. But one is the mom of Havre de Grace, the 4-year-old filly who is the second choice against males in today’s $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic.
"With the days of Bashford Manor’s three Kentucky Derby victories more than a century ago, major winners raised in Jefferson County are rare — the best horses in Greater Louisville almost always hail from Oldham County or perhaps Shelby County. But Dillman raised Havre de Grace on her 45-acre Stonegate Farm in Eastern Jefferson County.
"Dillman’s broodmare trio includes Easter Bunnette, whom she bred to the now-deceased Saint Liam, the 2005 Breeders’ Cup Classic winner who sired only one crop. Havre de Grace was sold to Rick Porter at Keeneland’s 2008 September yearling sale for $380,000.
“We all have dreams, and she’s certainly fulfilled them — even more so,” Dillman said of Havre de Grace, adding of the Classic, “I’m nervous as can be. I think she’s up to the task. She’s met boys before, and it didn’t faze her at all — so good for her.”"
