A bit out of touch what happened today? I gather they changed tracks, from sand to grass? Will be interesting topic if they run at big T and change from inside to trackside would make difference in betting. If they change from clairwood to scottsville sure all bets are void and price up again.

In this case I would argue that the inside track is less 'shyte' than the outside track - it seems the inside track has been scarified - maybe they just wanted to give it a week or 2 to settle before racing on it - but after having to race on it yesterday, who knows in what shape is it in this morning?

O Newmarket, Newmarket, where art thou?

Regarding the refunding of bets - I'm not sure where they draw the line - in the past I'm sure when racing had to be moved from Turffontein to the Vaal , all bets were declared null and void, because of the 'change of venue' - so the question is, is the Vaal Inside a different 'venue' than the Vaal Outside?

Yes, the outer track is a disgrace. I got home from overseas ten days ago and racing was on the Vaal outside course. I could not believe what I was seeing - yet the geniuses that run the game continued to try and race there. Dear Lord, what a mess we have been left with.

Most definitely, considering the draws and better going being different on both tracks...
