The rain hasn't stopped and Greyville looks in serious trouble..refresh the page for current conditions

They have had another 22mls since 7am this morning. Not looking good at all. Will let you know once get official announcement.

The High Rise buildings just to the right of the pier are more or less in front of the course and they are hardly visible

Thanks Titch, nice webcam view.
Surely someone can persuade the racing authorities to have live webcams at all the
race courses. Apart from the free publicity they will generate, the are also very useful
to see the weather conditions. They cannot be THAT expensive to install and maintain?

You are Spot On G..vodacom are busy placing one in Umhlanga free of charge...I think it could be the way to go

Due to further heavy rains on Sunday night and Monday morning, which have left many parts of Durban flooded, has forced the abandonment of tomorrow night’s racemeeting scheduled for Greyville Racecourse.
