What am i on about ?

I haven't had a bet with this firm for maybe the last 3 months or so . i was a lot more active with them in the past though .

I decide to give betxchange a miss this past sunday and go off to hollywood boksburg .

The 1st at scotsville don't interest me . I take my Borrowdale pa 's .
The 2nd comes up at Scottsvile so i take box tri and qtet 2,7,12,16 all verbal bets . I also shout out R500 tote place no12 .

Off they go ! i grab my tickets and wait for the race to finish . The fav comes home smoking and already i'm paying in on my pa . I wait to see if i got the place on NIKITA BROWN .Bang the horse runs into 4th place . I get all lekka in the gat cause its paying R20 a place . I quickly whiz through my tickets . The qtet in its moor .I look at the next ticket its R500 tote place Joe pike race 4 . Wtf i start fuming . I immediately go to the operator and telll him to phone h/o cause he cocked up my place bet and the trifecta . Somehow they are race 4 tickets .

A few minutes later the manageress, i think , comes to me and says sorry you need to double check your tickets when placing bets . At this point I 'm trying very hard to keep my cool explaining to her i called those bets for race 2.She apologises and says she will refund the stake .

I'm like are you crazy i won't accept that !
I Phone Clyde but his not in so i speak to the bloke that answers the phone . I explain it to him .He says he will escalate this to the top .

I get a call from someone (can't remember his name ) .He says he will get back to me on monday .

Tuesday Morning comes .The same guy calls and says " your account will be credited " i thank him .
Tuesday afternoon he calls me and says money has been deposited in my Hollywood account . He tells me to check my bets in future to avoid these kind of incidents . I thank him again .

Now that's what you call customer service at it's best .


i must say though that 2 of the operators there need to jack up a bit .

I have to agree they are superb as soon as you make a deposit they phone u if u make a withdrawl its in your account in a flash well done to Clyde and his staff. (tu)
