PeeKay..i never said i like/dislike three captains in the last race.i wont even place a percentage on/against it.i only do a place bet when a horse pass my set of rules..besides i dnt like paddock.he has had fav's bfore only for them to finish with the donkeys.i dnt trust him smith or greeff.that's just my opinion..

Agree with the Snaith runners mentioned last 2 posts... but add Kabamba & King's Troop but inexperience of J might tell even though 10,5kg better off vs Icemberg 6 May...last le of POT can upset so Ocean's away added

... Agrella back on Thunder K and FW is the much better hunting ground...but Icemberg my 1st choice...

That's funny ;)

Loopy,I have the same strategy as you for PA's.I generally take big perms and take the % I am comfortable with.
That strategy needs pivotal horses to miss places and a number of popular Snaith horses have thankfully obliged over the last few weeks....thats what made me notice.
All stables go through it from time to time and the better stables tend to come out of it with a bang,so today is no big surprise ,but I was just waiting for it to happen.

I never decide beforehand what my FULL unit will be Rob... I let the meeting decide that for me after doing the analysis ... I hardly ever look at betting before the race BUT I do look at intent (there's that word again :D ) from previous betting patterns in the form. To me it's not about "Pivotal horses to miss places" since then it would mean that I would have to actually look at the betting of the day to find out which ones are pivotal... the form & intent decide for me which ones I see as pivotal, NOT the market...
