Also heard that he is VERY hard on jockeys......before and after a race. Not sure if i would like to work with someone like that.........anyway, good luck to him and to whoever his patrons are..........in durban

Yip gott agree with Harris in this one for sure, one way merchant of note who wouldn't give you ice in winter as they say, but I guess hoping he'll return to SA where he would be an asset to the industry overall ... I guess.

Greg I've worked in a racing yard in summerveld and let me tell you 95perc of trainers there treat their staff like shit, if there's one trainer I've seen that is a gentleman its paul peter and he also a punters friend, ivan moore is also a very nice man

Basil Marcus does not deserve to get his licence back in SA.
He is seen as a “ paragon of virtue” I can tell you that is a load of nonsense, he is no angel. he has plenty to answer to and besides he deserted SA and his owners for many reasons that few really know about. He should not get away with them.
