Nathaniel Supplemented


Only seven entered for Saturdays King George and thats with Nathaniel being Supplemented for R800 000.

There has been an ease in the fast going after rain at the weekend for Derby and Ark winner Workforce has shortened back into 2/1 after an alarming drift out in the exchanges, after fears he would be withdrawn.

St Nicholas Abbey remains the 7/4 favourite ,but im still not convinced about him,his win at Chester was decent but he beat nothing and the defeat of Midday at Epsom can have holes picked in it..

Rewilding ran well to beat So You Think @ Ascot over 2000m ,but this is probably his trip but is held by Workforce.

Midday has fallen short a few times when up against the colts and her last run looked a bit suss,even though the going was a bit dodgy in Ireland that day.

Nathaniel the horse that has been supplemented at the cost of a SA grade 1 interests me very much.The way he won the King Edward the Vii stakes is still very much in my memory and he could be this years Harbinger?..

Hope St Nick is as good as we thought he was many moons ago

Didn't Rewilding stay every inch of the Dubai Sheema Classic - a mile and a half? And his half sister, Dar Re Mi, won the same race. Distance shouldn't be a problem for him. He's a very underrated horse.

Ran a shocker when unplaced favourite in the St Ledger last year. IMO he should stay the distance.

It was a great win to beat So You Think, but hope his backside has recovered after one of Frankies greatest rides?

Favourites have Flipped,Workforce now 7/4 and St Nich out to 2/1,Nathaniel has been cut to 8/1...

Will Midday run? she has won the Nassau twice,and Goodwood starts next week...

Only 5 runners with Seville and Midday being withdrawn...5 runners in a R10m race

JOSEPH O'BRIEN to ride St Nich,this is probably a negative imo
