a) KEY CHOICE (App J Jordaan) was reluctant to load causing a slight delay, and jumped awkwardly outwards making contact with TIGER’S SMILE (D Ashby), which was slow losing one length.
b) SPITFIRE SPIN (K Teetan) was slow losing one length.
c) I’M COOKING (B Morgenrood) was restless in the stalls.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED
a) Jockey R Fourie, the rider of WINTER HEART, reported that this filly made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure.
