july gallops

nice assesment by Sportingpost !

There has to be a worry about The Apache's gallop .

Can anybody enlighten us ?

TABONLINE should have there analysis up by next week, FULL MARKS to Sportingpost...(tu)

maybe the Ra will post the recorded gallops for us mugson there site ?

checked on you tube and found a few gallops posted by summerhill stud .
So decided to hand time the Bravura and Black wing gallops.I chose a marker where the commentator mentions the drill hall .Obviously the runners are already rolling at a mild gallop but i start the clock when they reach my marker . Both gallops where over 1800m .
back wing(+- 98sec) galloped +- 4 seconds faster than Bravura(+- 102sec) from my marker to the finish line . Obviously my timekeeping can't be gospel but there is a very big difference between the two gallops . it will be very interesting to see how this will translate come the big day .

food for thought ? or just an overzellous addicted punter trying to make a case for his roughie of the race ?

I have sent emails to phumelela and the ra to put up the gallops on their respective sites .I have not had a response yet .So i await to see their interest .

ant that might be as hard as getting TT to mention that the 2 biggest trainers in SA are on winning ways tonight

I sent your email to Phumelela yesterday and I’ve received a call from Tellytrack to say that they will upload the gallops onto u-tube. As soon as this has been done I will advise you.
