Hard race especially with top 4 in the betting with good form . I like the way Changingoftheguard ran on in its last. Think I will chance a small bet, decent value at 28/10.

For sheer entertainment, how can one beat South African racing!
Horses breaking through the gates, running off, having to avoid big birds on the course. It is the greatest.
If my colt Changingoftheguard gets beat I will be STUNNED.
He almost got knocked over in his debut, yet closed like a freight train.

Well done BARRY and CO . I backed him on his debut, something about the name I think and was really disappointed when it lost a short head. Well got my money back at least. All the best .

FYI, this is a good Fathers' Day for me, because I am being taken to dinner by my 20yo daughter, who until my horse won the Derby this year had shown absolutely no interest in the sport. Now she is working as a secretary in my office this summer during her break from university, is pals with all of my staff and actually wants to go racing! So all one has to do to get their kid interested in the game is to win the Kentucky Derby!
