It makes more sense for a Cape stable, though, simply because it's a much easier trip from Cape Town to PE than from Durban to PE. It allows the Snaiths to use PE as a "raiding" centre as well as a permanent home for some of their horses. Plus they have a heck of a lot more horses than Laff, who in any case can take pride in the fact that his former PE assistant Yvette Bremner has made a very real name for herself as a trainer.
