Scotia on Mother's Day (weekend)

Good evening to the CLAN and its time for a normal weekend, but don't forget Mothers Day.

So to all you "Mother's" lets have a look at some punting opportunities to pay for the special presents and lunches.

Its the Kentucky Oaks and Derby and we wish Barry Irwin and his team all the best with Summer Soiree and Animal Kingdom.

Ebony Flyer wearing the famous Team Valor silks

Kentucky Derby.

On the local front we have the KRA Guineas and a couple of great races, Sportingbet were again quick of the mark with betting and link Man 9/5 and Beach Beauty 5/2 being installed as favs, my fancy is Berry Blaze at 9/2 for the fillies race.

A few links to the site and keep the contributions coming

Interbet compo.

Igugu what price

As far as ante-post always much speculation, however here is some thoughts:

Our own July, is taking shape but all waiting for the MDK runners.......JULY Banter

The Oaks, was impressed with the finishing burst of Blue Bunting in the 1000gns and is a worthy 3/1 fav. for the 3rd of June.

The Derby has lost a bit sparkle without Frankel and the stable mate World Dominance tops the boards at 5/1.(4th June)

The Arc on the 2nd Oct we have joint favs Workforce and the Aussie horse So You Think and possibly Frankel?

Newbury the 14th of May, evens has gone on Canford Cliffs (7/10 tops) for the Lockinge.

Could we see Rocket Man win the July Cup on the 9th of July at Newmarket.

Rocket Man

As mentioned last week Royal Ascot 14th to 18th of July is a meeting for the diary where options are Kings Stand (Overdose), Queen Anne (Canford Cliffs) St James (Frankel), they have taken the 1/3!, Prince of Wales ( So You Think) and what about Rocket Man for the Golden Jubilee.

King George on boxing day, have the feeling we wont see Kauto after its poor run in Ireland and Long Run 18/10 looks impossible to beat, however one that could change that would be the inclusion of Master Minded?

We also have the Coral Eclipse at Sandown on the 2nd of July, So You Think.

Football

Champions League and what a dream final at Wembly: Barcelona 11/20 and Manchester United 16/10 on the 28th of May.
As far as this weekend the EPL has Man U at 1/3 and Chelsea 7/2 to lift the trophy and all could depend on the biggest game of the season on Mothers Day, where a 0-0 draw at 8/1 would suit Man U, but that would be the last score the spectators would like to watch, unless you were wearing a red shirt.
Plus I see Celtic was beaten by Inverness, the Gers have gone back to 5/10 fav to win the League.

Not sure about you guys but these computer/phone abbreviations kill me. Having the site I felt I should get up to speed and went to a computer shop, the assistant had a look at me and says they also have one for senior citizens, so this is the one I will be using in future sms's

I fully conclude with SCOTIA. Besides the Horse racing we all have, or had, MOTHERS so lets celebrate them, as God knows they put up with a lot of s... from us. Lets spoil them while we can.
