Different tactics Frodo , if no pace in the race and jock gets her to the front and with her acceleration ability she can steal it .

Well I suppose we see it differently; I think St John is a guy who sticks to what works, and what works is that she comes from almost last (with a devastating burst of acceleration it must be said) to win going away; I don't think she will go to the front (if she even runs in the race) even if there is a slow pace - it will just be another factor against her - still she is a super filly - would like to see her take on Igugu at WFA

Couldnt agree with you more. To be one of the shortest priced favourites ever? At 4/1 now, one really cant get that burnt if she doesnt run.
As a roughie - CASTLETHORPE is a much different horse now after recently being gelded. But I think I read something about Bass saying that he may stay put in Cape Town? We shall see after the Winter Guineas tomorrow.

As a Modus V I really think she will stay - She still seems a bit "dumb" to me - I hope and pray that she stays sound as she could be a really big crowd puller if she keeps on improving -

Let's see how everyone's pics have changed and adapted. Run for it no longer my first choice...in fact not in my top 5. Super Storm I still fancy.

I agree with pirate's assessment on another thread - it's between Bravura and Super Storm for me - both have some negatives against them though - Bravura may not be ideally suited to Greyville and Super Storm has - imo - not the best rider in the July to 'assist' him. I make the 3yr old with the best chance Galileo's Destiny - he may improve more with de Kock and has the weight advantage with most of the other 3 yr old's (accept for Castlethorpe who has some stamina doubts).

I have some real doubts about Pierre Jourdan getting the trip and Past Master has too much (top weight and stamina doubts) against him imo.

So my top 4 are:

1. Bravura
2. Super Storm
3. Galileo's Destiny
4. Igugu
