One thing I always wondered about the wisperer is like how much his tips loses. U only read bout the winners. I like to check him out though. Would b interesting to see wht his strike rate is. Maybe he should be brave enough & do what Mike Bass do on his site. Give a breakdown of his tips , layout & return at the end of the month. I can remember this one month, layout of 130 k giving a profit of 20 k. Make me wonder how matthew would fare with all those R288 p.a's daily
Do not follow where the path may lead.
Go to where there is no path.....

The only problem i have with the Bass tipping service is that the layout for the bets are always big, but the payouts are seldom as big.

I may be wrong, but I haven't seen ANY tipster (except for MBR - and theirs certainly do not entice me to subscribe) publishing their 'stats'; all that is needed is a simple spread sheet: Cost, Return, Profit/Loss; and the reason they don't publish imo is that they are all making a loss.
Making a profit from betting on horses is VERY DIFFICULT imo; it needs hard work to find the 'value' bets and then also a heatlhy dose of good fortune; and you have to be able to ride out the losing streaks and to prosper from the winning streaks. Yes, you can try only going for those 'certainties' returning 10 or 20% on your 'investment' the problem is that you then need a large budget (20% profit on R50,000 is only R10,000) and a strike rate of better that 80%, otherwise you still lose.
Perhaps someone like Rob Faux or pirates can share some of their experiences?

"Tried his services once for a month in Gauteng..first meeting at Turffontein i won R2000 following his jackpot and Pa,and i was filled with confidence after this good start... but never won again with his tips..Perhaps take a membership for one of the centres and see for yourself..
Needless to say i learned a big lesson...follow your OWN instincts and follow that up with your own studying of form."

I agree with you 100%.i had more or less the same experience with another tipster.my advice is to everyone reading this e-mail..only bet a % of your pool because risk is always around the corner waiting to pounce.whether it's a sindicate/weather/corrupt trainer, jockey etc.Form your own rules, meaning ones which your horse must pass before placing a bet on it.if it doesn't pass some of the rules then leave it out!Remember, when you have a place bet of for example GBP100 and your horse doesn't make it then it effectively means your deficit is GBP200 because besides loosing your bet of GBP100 you have to spend another GBP100 to make up for the loss. So,my advice is to be patient!
