Meydan Pick Six - couplings?

Does anyone know for certain whether or not couplings will apply in the pick six? I can't find any listed on the cards, so I'm guessing they don't apply. Makes things a heck of a lot more difficult if that's the case.

Oh, think I just found the confirmation.

mikedekockracing.com/wp/index.php/2011/0...dan-betting-bonanza/

[hr]
Races 3 – 8 Meydan
Pool must be won
All 6 winners: 70% of pool
Any 5 winners: 30% of pool

* If no outright winners, full pool shared by any 5 winners or, if necessary, any 4 winners, any 3 winners etc

R1 unit, R6 minimum, NO fractional betting

Couplings, first-timer rule do not apply
[hr]

No couplings and no fractional betting. Ouch. Payout could be huge.

I'll have a shot at it. Having written it down, I just have to. Wouldn't be a happy chap if it came in and I didn't take the bet. Terrible reason to take a bet, but there it is.

2,5,13
3,5,8,11,13
9
3,9,12,16
2,6
5,7,12,14

R480. Splitting 3 ways; I'm not big bucks enough to go it alone. ;)

If all these tote outlets around the world are betting into this pick six pool, how can they be bragging about a R160k pool with 5 minutes to go? It should be in the millions.
