Good morning Clan another week almost over and a great days racing at the big T on Saturday in store.

We have our competition so don't forget to post your selections.....WSB Triple Crown comp

As far the Guineas will be sticking to Kavanagh after his last very impressive win and will go against Hollywood Boulevard and take Igugu in the ladies equivalent, in addition another 3 top races, Acacia (Headstrong) Hawaii (Galileo's Galaxy) Aquanaut (Mirage Drive) so try and get to the track.

Many interesting posts on the site currently so rather go and have a look plus have your say.

Great to see that certain bookies have started to price up early for events as it generates interest and keeps the brain cells active, or should I say cell, "the early bird catches the worm".

Bold Silvano, seen here winning the 2010 July
is Ante-Post fav for the $10M World Cup

What about MDK in Dubai has it not been fantastic and another great boost for SA racing and after the Cape Sale I am sure we are fast becoming the new racing spotlight.

World Cup night in Dubai should be spectacular (Bold Silvano 9/2, Golden Sword 12/1, River Jetez ?, Musir 14/1) the mind boggles and if you are not a MDK fan (what!) Cape Blanco, Twice Over and "Snow Fairy" on offer at 8/1, but probably a bit early to speculate. We also have Cheltenham as we head towards a great months racing in March.

Having a look at the betting moves and possible early opportunities, I note that Sportingbet are offering money back on scratched horses for the festival.

All the prices.............................
World Cup as above
Cheltenham:
Champion Hurdle: Binocular 9/2, Menorah 5/1 and keep an eye for Dunguib has come into 14/1
Supreme Novice: Still strong on Cue Card 5/2
Chase: still Master Minded 22/10
World Hurdle: Big Bucks still 12/10 remember the treble!
Cup: Imperial C still fav 9/2, Long Run 13/2 and the Nicholls pair have shortened to 7/1.
Classics:
Frankel still 12/10 for 2000gns, 8/1 the field for 1000gns, plus Fankel could still be a gift at 13/2 for Derby and the Oaks, no idea?
Arc: Workforce, Frankel and So You Think top the boards around 10/1
Kentucky Derby: Uncle Mo at 4/1 could still be worth a punt.

The Cricket, what a boring game (expect a reaction) I guess I could keep awake if had a few bets "in-running"

Barcelona have to turn round at 2-1 deficit

Football: Champions League has been great, Barcelona 22/10, Real 9/2 and last chance Chelsea 11/2, Utd 8/1 and the Gunners 16/1 (hope you took 25/1)
The League is a case of Utd at 7/10 or Arsenal 18/10, after last nights win, the FA Cup has become interesting with the draw matching the 2 favs Man Utd 5/2 and Arsenal 4/1 and Man City might be the safer bet at 9/2 and remember its the Cup. One of the biggest problems over the next couple of months could be the excess fixtures so consider before having a punt.

Rugby: 6 Nations England 6/10 the French 18/10, Super Rugby where Crusaders and Bulls still top the boards at 5/1.

So the bottom line, plenty betting opportunities but making a profit makes the difference!

My biggest concern this week is how do I get my hands on Mrs S camera for the racing to capture more birds getting passed by Link Man
