Magic and Frodo I am in the same boat as you. Took a big punt on Waywest Goddess at 5/2 could believe the odds as I made her very hard to beat, but unfortunately she's been scratched. With the appy allowance would have been 18 pounds better off with the field. Dissapointing.

Lots of scratchings on the whole card - seems a bit worrying?

Some nice racing at the Big T tonight - but the exotics could prove difficult to catch; thoughts:

R1: Hurricane Jen should win this with normal improvement - but it is very competitve if you take her out of the race - also a few first timers that could surprise
R2: Boeing Boeing all the rage after a good debut in which he lost a few lengths at the start and should be too good here from perennial place getter Super Boy
R3: At the weights, Galileo's Destiny should be the right one even if not 100% ready; Perana is the obvious danger, while Mirage Drive still seems well in and could surprise, but his recent effort under the lights does not inspire much confidence. Canute the Great ran a great race last time, and could be the surprise package in the quartet.
R4: Umkomaas ran a nice race last time when under sufferance, and could turn the tables on Timeofreckoning (and Archangel Michael); Valor is out of a Hobnob mare, so may now need a little more ground, while The Mouseketeer represents the Tarry stable, which still seems a little out of sorts.
R5: A real tough handicap; Moroccan could be the right one, but seems to prefer softer going; Magico has a big reputation and ran well behind What a Winter, so could also feature; for a roughie I like Tirade, who may have needed his last run and seems very well weighted here.
R6: Another competitve handicap; we owned the 1/2 sister and leased the full sister (Gap Year) to Beit Bridge (pleased to say we forked out a lot less for them) and Gap Year was definitely more effective up to 1600, so the 1800 could be a problem for BB; Fly Olympic is back in a handicap and has a chance, while Belmonte cruised in last time and could follow up (even with the max 8 point penalty for that win)
R7: Tough close to racing; Lancewood won his maiden going away, so could follow up, but if he fails it becomes difficult; Bold Al is proving inconsistent and Fun to Run who should be ready to run a big race is drawn wide (as is Tommy Brock); so it's Lancewood or anything; roughies to consider imo include Nuke, Make Space (drawn in pole position and has blinkers fitted) Medicean Wood and Random Quest

I'm taking a chance with a P6: 6 x 6 x 6 x F x F x F

Play well

Hi Greg, Hopefully Saturday, she working well but seems to need everthing to go in her favour to win. I don't think the 3200 race on July Day did her any favours getting knocked around by the bigger colts, she seems reluctant to go through horses now and rather go around them. We have some nice newcomers coming through Trained by David Boyarsky, will let you know how they are doing closer to the time.
