The scatching fark up I presume, yes I saw it earlier as a scratching on Hollywood, but was rectified there within 15 minutes or so...

Unfortunately I'm sure a lot of punters who took pa's earlier and saw Golden Sword scratched on TT did there tom and are totally pissed off, the poor punter has been robbed again by the tote operator......

Four or five times during the day they stated that this was a mistake by the guys doing dissemenation. People like me and many others in TAB outlets then watched them load with no 1 as a non runner and tellytracks feed showing him as a scratching and no tote payout displayed with i think no 7 as tote favorite. WTF and then Mr N P what aclown announcing that heads would roll for this f#$% up to the whole country . Lets hope they do but for me vodka and the casino is now a better prospect. Screw these incompetent clowns.

Typical tellytrack ha ha absolutley useless, and Neil Pretorius' statement ''heads are gonna roll''. they really dont give a F%^$ about the punters and anyone with half a brain would have seen Golden Sword going down and circling at the start. Couldnt one oif these nitwits have picked it up. Not to mention the fact that Terry Spargo still mentioned Golden Sword about 7 times before the were loaded. POOR POOR POOR.

Sorry to hear about this bloodshot. Like the outcome of the Flamingo park fiasco, I doubt we will see any action. Why should there be, there is another betting opportunity around the corner.

I wonder who's fault this is and what excuse will be used.

This is pathetic what a bunch of palookas handling millions of rands. Ther should be penalties payable by the operator when these cock ups are made. I suggest 1 bar into a Pick 6 pool with no 25% takeout. You cock up you feel. Why should we be taxed and penalised repeatedly with no accountability to us the life blood of the game!

Maybe the Consumer Protection Act once in place, can be used against them in future.

If you are constantly exposed to the information supplied by the backrooms of Tellytrack or Tab-online it is clear that the staff are either totally incapable or have an attitude of "couldn't give a stuff".I strongly suspect the latter and although there is occasionaly some signs of frustration by presenters, absolutely nothing ,in the form of management has been done to improve the situation.
For ages I have been complaining that,as "shit rolls downhill" the problem ultimately lies at the feet of the board members in charge of these areas.
Eventually perhaps somebody will realise that these jobs should be utilising"performance agreements" which would require a "caring" attitude
in order to retain their jobs.
Should be pretty basic for a public company.

Here is a suggestion. I believe the time is right to move away from ticket system and move to a card system. A punter is issued with a chip and pin card. All punter info and activity is stored on the card. the beauty of this system is that when something like this happens, a refund can be credited to the clients card. Although there is probably alot of money claimed from unclaimed tickets etc, the primary focus should be on customer retention.

The world of possibilities with a system like this would be limitless. customer loyalty programmes, competitions and the like could be untroduced to help promote the game.

the second benefit is that you register each customer and understand the dynamic of the customer base - demographic, spend per head and a world of other data. You do then also have a line of communication with them, that is of course if you have people capturing the data correctly

It was more than a monumental F**k Up...here I just got home from work and switched the telly on and see the number 1 golden sword is scratched so I phoned up my bookie and back # 7 Final Drive thinking that its the favourite. When I watched the race.to my despair I hear Terry Spargo say that Golden Sword jumped out well..who pays for this monstrous mistake but we the punters were seriously mislead and we are the ones who pay for other peoples mistakes.I do not know where they get their information about scratchings and betting from but I do hope for the future they change their source or get people to actually check what is going on.It was very unprofessional.
