Yip Magic despite what any of us see or dont see or read differentlly i agree fully Azeroth a very fortunate winner - And no not because he kept a straight course , but if we carry on we will just keep going in circles. The result stands i dont like it - many will .

Blood we're allowed to go around in circles, as long as there isn't any bumping and boring (

This time I agree with 2Cents.
La Beau Jolais holds about a half length advantage over Azeroth who is on his outside entering the straight.LBJ starts making an outward movement as if to go towards the outside rail as they come off the rail at the top of the straight and that forces Azeroth in the same direction, towards the outside rail.Azeroth is now hard against the outside rail with LBJ on his inside and still marginally in front of Azeroth. At the about the 300m mark Eagle Squadron shifts across LBJ,causing MJ Beyleveld to snatch at the reins just as Hatt on Azeroth has drawn alongside LBJ as he tries to maintain his position against the outside rail.At the point of interference Azeroth and LBJ are on level terms.Anthony on ES now straightens his mount after causing the initial interfence and this allows a gap of about 1,5 horse widths to reopen, allowing LBJ to make a second attempt to come through. As he does so,ES(who is just over length clear of LBJ)shifts out again, closing the gap again and giving LBJ nowhere to go.
I don't see how the stipes had any option but to take the race away from Eagle Squadron,he clearly is the trangressor of the rules.IMO Azeroth did absolutely nothing wrong,he simply held his position the whole way up the straight.

I'd like to see it again.(
Anyway, it's done and dusted and it made no difference to either my life or my pocket.

I backed Eagle Squadron and most painfully have to agree with the decision to take the race away. Eagle Squadron clearly interfered with LBJ on two occasions. Thats my 2 cents worth.X(

I agree with 2cents on this. LBJ was impeded twice by the winner and closed the gap at the line to around half a length. I would have been very surprised if the objection was not upheld.
With regards to Azeroth being lucky. Well, you can say that if there was no interefence, he would have run 3rd. However, it wasn't his fault that Eagle Squadron didn't run straight. He was just the beneficiary of that incident, just like Space Walk was in the July.
