Classic Flags!!!!!

I see that a classic flag offspring TREE FLAG contested the TBA Paddock stakes (grade 1). Could some one please help me in understanding how a mare of this calibre gets into a race of this class and yes she is a 6 time winner but look a what she beat!!! some blind school races,Paddock stakes 7.25 lengths behind 2nd last horse and 14.50lbh winner. This must have been a very expensive excesise for the owner.Does one view this as a bad trainer or stupid owner.

She got into the race because she's a mare and as such was eligible. I guess we all knew it was a waste of time, but we're not the ones paying the entry fees so what is the concern? People want to run outclassed horses in races where they are allowed to run in terms of the conditions, that's their business.
