Got to say NO, because she will be a 3/1 shot. Votes not representing those odds yet (ie- she's way too short in this election)

Ruffian, you are right, odds way too low. There is no value. Do you think I should look for a different race for her where her odds would be more generous?

Dancer's Daughter's last three runs was off a 114 which was 3rd, 2nd and 1st in consecutive Grade 1's.

If EF won with say PP and Earl Of S behind, she'd have to run say a 112-114 so from what we've seen she would have to find about 5 lbs over the sex allowance. They should know the calibre of horse they have with this filly, especially after 1-2 in the stable had in the colts guineas. The colt runner up has been claimed against PP in the Met.

So it's not inconceivable she wins although it is asking for a big performance against the men so soon in her career.

I wonder what Bernard thinks?

Barry - I was just referring to the odds the current voting represent. (ie - about 12/10 which is far shorter than her projected odds of 3/1).
You are going to make history (again) if you win the race. They say fortune favours the brave and I genuinely hope you pull it off.
I won't be betting on the race and I certainly won't be swinging on her tail. Just because I don't think she will win and I have doubts over the path taken doesn't mean I don't want her to win. Racing needs champions.
This is one of the few instances where I promise you I HOPE I AM WRONG. I emptied on her in the fillies guineas, but I can only HOPE she wins this race, I could never EXPECT it.

Never considered or heard of using votes to obtain odds. Interesting.

Good morning Barry, its normal, at this moment Racing Post have a poll on "who will win the King George" Kauto is on 61% so its proportional to the betting on the horse, the distortion on this thread is that we probably have a bias support to you and the "wonder" filly that shows a shorter price than we "hope" the bookies will offer ;)

Bookies don't like taking chances. They are probably waiting to learn more about the contenders.
