Ebony Flyer is 17.1 hands vs 6 yr old Zenyata 17.2 hands....Ebony Flyer weighs 550 kilos vs 6 yr old Zenyata 552 kilos. Ebony Flyer @ 2 yrs won Mdn by 3.25 lnths .......2nd start.. Listed Race by 2.25 lnths Then 1st 3yr old start Gr 2 Odessa Stud won by 5.50 lnths..... 2nd 3 yr old start G1 Avontuur Stakes won by 1.25 lnths Zenyata 1st start was Nov of her 3 yr old year won Mdn by 3 lnths ...2nd start won Allow race by 3.50 lnths....... 3rd start was Jan of 4yr old yr won Gr 2 El Encino, 4th start won Gr 1 Apple Blossom ........... So it may be a stretch to compare a 3 yr old who has only won 4 races to a 6yr old world champion winner of $ 7 mil US and winner of 19 races.............but so far at this stage of her career Ebony Flyer is ahead of Zenyata by every measurement.....................It may be crazy to race a 3 yr old filly vs Older males in her 5 th start ..........since Zenyata was 5 yrs old and had won 13 races when she took on her male counterparts ........but if she Ebony Flyer wins .......
