can anyone explain to me why figs always places when riding outsiders.?im off that man and good luck to those that follow him

Probably because he is a race rider and doesn`t go tearing off at a million miles an hour on the rags that some jocks seem to do

If you look at the stats of how many favorites of Figie does not make it to the pole first and how many of those are in fact unplaced you will find a reason to be careful here

Loopy ,in his last 200 rides he has ridden 11 " favourites" none odds on or shorter than 14/10 he has had 5 winners and 5 further places,not too shabby imo

5/11 is better than the generally accepted strike rate of winning favourites of roughly one-in-three. Seems to me Figgy is doing better than the numbers suggest he should, not worse!
