It's only at times like those that I really wish I was back on TV. Honestly, listening to them (the fact that they were attractive lasses was a mere bonus) was such a pleasure.

I agree that it was a pleasure having them; however I suspect that after a few weeks of the same, one will also start getting used to them and finding something to get irritated about - human nature. Presenting at the races is a tough job imo - there are only so many ways to say ' that horse sure looks good' or 'well done' - somebody will always find something to complain about. That being said, our lot surely needs some 'freshening up' imo

Some of our on course guys think that they are on "SA's wannabe wittiest" (a new reality show not yet thought of). There are certain individuals who can pull it off, Shaheen Shaw, Niel Andrews then there are others that turn an interview into a contest for the most juvenile comments of the year. Sometimes a straight answer is what the public wants after winning or doing money. Not horse play and personal jokes between mates. I particularly liked the way she handled Joey Ramsden and Grant Knowles. They both tried to draw her in to the comedy but she stuck to her guns and stayed out of it, completely.

This is the difference between a hobbyist and a professional IMO. Well done Lorna Bradburne.

Lorna's brother Mark is a national hunt jockey and i think Sue Braburne is her mother,she is a trainer..Horse Racing running through her veins.10 times better than Thommo
