Problems at start

Following recent lengthy debate ,it seems to me that it is time for the starters to become less patient with badly schooled &/or badly behaved horses.
Watching International races would suggest we have more fractious horses than elsewhere!

Referring to the last at Fairview Rob?? .... I counted 7 minutes from loading to start, not good....

Greg, the delay is a problem but also, other horses were scratched and who knows how many skittish horses had their chances affected.
Unfair for well schooled horses to be affected IMO.
Laff and Goodman alluded to trainers who deliberately ensured their horses loaded last, to gain an advantage!

The best drawn horse should load first, thru to the worst drawn who should go in last....fair's fair. In races up the straight, they should load as one. LOL.

Jockey club rules state uneven horses must load first then even number horses but the starter has the right to load any horse early or later if it is graded as a problem horse or not.What is very frustrating, watch how many times the favourite is loaded last or very close to last but next time out (expecially if it won its maiden and is now racing against winners ) it is now a 10/1 shot its loading problems are miracously solved and it is one of the first to load. An unfair advantage is given to the fancied horses as majority of time the are last to load.
