Horse no 3 pays 0 for win and place, yet there is money in the pool

Probably no tickets on. So dividing by zero gives you a NaN or not-a-number as far a computer goes.

Surely if there is no ticket on no 3, the full pool of R961must be displayed as the win amount?
If the horse won, surely the full amount of R961will be carried forward?
not clever enough to follow the computer programmers logic?
perhaps there are a few of these type of programming features?

There would have been no tickets on the runner at that stage.
It can't display R961. That means that R1 was placed on the runner. Just as if someboby put R10 and it would have displayed R96.
I agree that it must show 0. Remember the displayed price is not showing the pool, put the pool divided by the tickets on the runners. If it Won a paid R0 i.e no winners then the pool will get carried over.
