Morning, I stay about 10 min from Durbanville race course. It's been raining on and off since 5 this morning. We had about 2 mm rain so far. There is a light NW breez and it's overcast, but the way I know the Cape, I'm quite sure that it will clear this side later and we should have good racing. Will keep you posted.

Spot on Hibs.... a real puzzle. I think Ibrox suffered the 2nd run after a rest syndrome last time, featherweight on her back today, Pagan Dance seems a 'just point me in the right direction and fire' type pony... of course Mary and Mana need no intro... and Van Zyl/Danielson's Onehundredacrewood going to be very competitiiive... three lengths first to last.
I took doubles Wildest Dream / Hundredacrewood........ Wildest Dream / Ibrox Park... and the Patent Wildest Dream/Takethe Gap/Onehundredacrewood... the treble being a very respectable 325/1 {grin}

Not very original I know but I make both Forest and Mary Lou very hard to beat at Turffies this evening; Forest has won over this trip under the lights before and races off a 79, after having won his previous start convincingly on the sand off a 84 - should be odds-on imo. Mary Lou's main opposition Esterel has been scratched, and Mana Mou is probably going to need this outing while Mary Lou is racing fit.

Play well
