Wonderful to be able to give the thumbs up to an aspect of racing at the moment,but I think the new commentator Alistor Cohen is very good.(and will get even better as he must still have a few nerves,although it doesn't show).......well done. (hope your ability doesn't work against you in this highly nepotistic and political industry)

Dave,he did the first 2 and hope he is doing the lot.His presenting on other days has also been excellent......very articulate,knowledgable without preaching.

Speculation could easly have been avoided by a short press release from Tellytrack/Phumelela clarifying the 'appointment'? of a new commentator together with his background and qualifications? Unfortunately taking past performance into account, the absense of a press release (or something similar) will unavoidably lead to all sorts of conspiracy theories - just my opinion
