Well after speculation for many months and weather putting a damper on the BIG weekend, we still have some great racing to look forward to over the next couple of days.

Saturday we have 2 x group ones and 3 x group twos.
Sunday we have 6 x group ones👏

Some highlighted runners

Sat ; Skalleti, The Revenant, Call the Wind.

Sunday : Enable, Battaash, Earthlight.

Must say really looking forward to watching Enable make history but surely the 15/10 on Battaash must be a better bet than evens Enable.

Potentially more loss in runners?

The participation of a number of British and Irish runners – including Aidan O'Brien's four Arc contenders – at Longchamp this weekend has been thrown into doubt after it was revealed that various batches of Gain horse feeds have been found to be contaminated with a prohibited substance.

O'Brien is among many leading trainers who use Gain products.

On Friday evening, Gain Equine Nutrition issued a statement advising trainers to refrain from feeding horses its equine products, including its widely used racehorse cubes and mix, after it emerged some of its products have been contaminated with Zilpaterol, which is unlicensed in Europe but is used in America and elsewhere to promote weight gain, mainly in cattle.

All of O' Brien's runners in the Arc have now been withdrawn after testing positive from the contaminated feed.

This has now become huge Non-event of absolutely no interest.
Will watch Super Bike racing instead.

Still a great race... some super horses still left in and the ground factor makes it all the more interesting!

I’m going to have a little touch on Persian King trained by the Arc master Fabre, however, I’ll still be shouting Enable home through the mud.
