SUBJECT: Arjang race 8 bets refunded

All TAB bets on race 8 at Arjang Racecourse in Sweden today had to be refunded as a result of a tote betting system malfunction.
The race formed the last leg of the Place Accumulator on the meeting and all choices qualified.
The precise cause of the failure has not yet been identified, but the system functioned normally for races 9 and 10 at Arjang and is being closely monitored by Amtote in the USA and TAB information technology staff.
