If you watched the match you would have seen that it took almost a minute for a free kick to be taken in those 6 minutes. They always add 30 seconds. Watch matches tonight and you will see

I am bored and it’s flipping cold even though the sun is shinning and not a cloud in sight so here are some thoughts about tonight’s matches
Chelsea have not beaten Man United at OT for 10 years Chelsea are getting better and United worse so a draw looks the likely outcome
Villa v Man City This match will see at least 7 goals as both sides will go for it
Sheff United v Liverpool, new manager bounce coming up Can’t see Liverpool winning.
Fulham v Forest, Forest are pathetic away from home so can’t see them winning
Brighton v Brentford should be close with Brighton winning
Palace v Bournemouth fortunately for Palace Bournemouth are just as poor so a draw the best outcome for both teams,

The British press are really hounding Man U and Erik Ten Hag - that's okay given their current form but Chelsea appear to be getting a free ride when you consider the money they have spent?

The VAR ref in the Luton v Arsenal match failed to award Arsenal a penalty for a stamp on Saka foot.
The ref in the Man United v Chelsea match awarded Man United a penalty for a stamp on Anthony’s foot, exactly the same foul
The VAR ref and the actual ref the same guy.

Former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard and ex-Aston Villa manager Dean Smith are competing to take over at Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC.
Forest manager Steve Cooper has told friends he has heard suggestions he will be sacked.
France goalkeeper Mike Maignan of AC Milan to Man U?

Two huge matches tonight with the improving Everton at home against injury ravaged Newcastle and Tottenham at home against West Ham.
Villa could do a Blackburn and Leicester by winning the league as they are very strong at home winning their last 14 home league matches. The last time that they lost at home was against Arsenal whom they meet on Saturday evening. Away win
If Liverpool beat Palace in the Saturday lunch time match then they will go top of the table Palace are desperate for a win with Hodgson clinging onto his job now. Home win
Man City have not won in 4 and it won’t be an easy trip to Luton who so nearly took a point off Arsenal on Tuesday BTTS away win
Newcastle travel to Spurs on Sunday. They humiliated Spurs 6-1 last season and with Spurs playing such a high line Newcastle will catch them on the counter attack Could be a match with plenty of goal scoring opportunities BTTS
Wolves v Forest if Forest return empty handed then surely the manager will go. Wolves have had 7 points stolen from them courtesy of VAR so they are far better then their league position shows Home win
Brighton v Burnley home side won’t have any problems picking up the win
Sheffield United v Brentford With the old manager returning giving the fans and players a lift and with Brentford’s leading scorer out injured this is a home win Will be a banker in all of my bets nice price 4/1
Man United v Bournemouth home win
Everton v Chelsea away win
Fulham v West Ham draw

The cost of living crisis in the UK is also affecting football clubs. Not the PL clubs some of which have more money than a lot of countries but the lower league teams.
The FA cup 3rd round is at the beginning of January and the FA have picked the matches which will be broadcasted live
Only Wigan from league one have a live match and only because it’s against Man United
Each club appearing live will receive £85k as if United, Arsenal, Liverpool Newcastle Spurs need it
No money for the non league teams or lower league teams. No wonder these clubs are clinging on for dear life
Yet again the rich feeding off the poor
