The new Chelsea owner is worth £3.5 billion. He purchased the club for £4.25 billion, obviously took a bank loan.

He does not know that much about football (buying so many players and paying way over the odds) somebody should have told him that only 11 players can play at one time.

Chelsea will be paying back the loan, something like Man United owners have done and look where it’s got them. A stadium falling apart, training ground a facilities out of the 80s and going through managers like a delicious sponge cake.

Now he employs Lampard who was sacked from Everton because they believed he would get them relegated He is 14/1 to be sacked b4 the end of the season.

Frivolously rich men and their toys.

So many Arsenal fans now expecting to win the league. I have been an Arsenal fan long enough to know and remember how we come short at the pointy end.

Liverpool away is going to be tough. The last time Arsenal won at Anfield was in 2012. We have been thrashed plenty of times. The ref has history of favouring other teams in Arsenal matches

West Ham away next week won’t be easy as won’t the home game against Southampton. Not good to be playing against teams at the bottom at this time of the season

After Southampton it’s Man City away then Chelsea at home.

Then come another two huge matches against teams fighting to get into Europe, Newcastle away and Brighton at home. If Arsenal have collected 16 points by then the title will be on.

Finish off Forest away and Wolves at home. Very difficult run in at least they will be in the champions league next season.

Burnley could be promoted back into the PL today

Celtic will all but have secured the SPL with a win over Rangers tomorrow.

Yet again VAR proving to be just as corrupt as the British Gov. How did they not award Brighton a penalty against Tottenham.

Odds on that Kane will now take a dive get up and score a penalty for Tottenham

No other major league in Europe have fans going mental over VAR as PL fans. Even the Scottish league get it right all the time. It cannot be down to incompetence as these “mistakes” won’t be happening time and time again and it appears strange that it’s always the same few teams that gain from it. No doubt that there are some underhand shenanigans going on. Today it was Brightons turn to be robbed of not only a perfectly good goal but also a stone wall penalty. This result will cost Brighton a place in Europe next season and may also cost either Newcastle or Man United a top 4 finish.

ATM it looks like Palace, Wolves, West Ham and Everton should be safe. It’s 50/50 for Bournemouth and Leeds. I give Forest 3/10 to stay up, Leicester 2/10 and Southampton 3/10 Could all change at the end of next weeks matches. VAR and the refs will be the ones deciding who goes down and who stays up. Same can be said for the top of the league

There won’t be any cheating by refs or VAR today after the head of refs, Howard Webb, apologised to Brighton this morning after yesterdays moves. This is the 3rd time this season that they had to apologise to Brighton. I suspect that the ref and VAR in charge of the two matches today have been told no mess ups will be tolerated.
