Agreed CNC, just don't know what needs to be done to get VAR right.

I do t usually watch any FA Cup games but when I checked on the Liverpool v Wolves score 2-2 I decided to watch the last 10 minutes. Once again for God knows how many times VAR saved Liverpool from an early exit. Wolves scored what looked like a perfect goal. The linesman said off side and when it went to VAR they could not find a “definitive line” to say if the goal was offside or not. Even cross will agree that that was a perfectly good goal.

There are biases even in supposedly objective assessments...Liverpool came out on the right side because some-one sees more value in Liverpool still being in the tournament...a bit like in tennis when the Hawkeye often seems/ed to favour the better ranked player at the crucial moments...not right but it is so...or the All Blacks or NZ teams coming out on the right side of situations where they are 70-30 in the wrong...

For us fans, it's terrible as we just want to a match decided on the field / court and not the bias of officials...

Wednesday Gossip:

Real Madrid want Harry Kane.

Poland have invited Steven Gerrard to be their manager.

PSG’s owners are interested to buy a small stake in a Premier League club.

Saudi Arabia is reportedly considering a joint bid to host the 2030 World Cup with Greece and Egypt. If so, and if his new club agrees, CR7 will earn £177m to promote the bid on top of his annual salary of £177m.

Kudos to Piers Morgan for publicly acknowledging that he was wrong about Arteta, and for describing himself as an a**.

Until Arsenal go through a bad run then he will change his tune again

@tnaicker you are correct but I have not posted in favour or against him since the teams results have improved. Morgan is just doing what he does best and that is he is trying to become Artetas pal, just like he does with anyone who is either more popular or likeable than him or both.

@cnc...agree...you have even been backing Arsenal in the competition...:)

Piers Morgan blows with the wind until it blows back at him...
