Some fairly mediocre overseas players for the amount of hype leading up to the draft. Some complete unknowns but about time CSA have put something like this together.

1. Helps players and administration financially and may encourage more players to stay here.

2. Gives players a platform to launch a career and thus forces CSA to reward a good tournament, otherwise guys will venture to greener pastures.

3. Most importantly development. In this tournament there are no transformation requirements, thus theoretically the best side should play, but above all, there are a lot of "of color" players in the squads and the amount they will learn from overseas internationals is I think the greatest reward.

I am sure that one or two could afford it on their own, they being the ARMs as they are forever winning.

Stellenbosch have no stars but a good solid squad. Hales the England opener can win you a game inside the first 6 overs

Best opening partnership has to be Roy and De Kock. Roy gonna bully our out and out domestic bowlers (if he's in the mood)

Agreed plus they have Wiese and Morkel who hits sixes for fun. Hopefully it's going to be a huge success with sell out crowds.
