So what is the reason it was taken off the air? to force people to use the phonelines?

let's try & get to the crux of the matter here........ help please mr.hawaii

was there a fallout between the radio station & P ? If so sort it out & get the commentaries back on the air.

although this was not the clearest of radio signals to listen to, most of the time you could hear the commentary.

the Durban & Cape guys need to get their local radio stations to play " their " local racing.... one radio station can not play all the centres... this would be tantamount to teletrack on radio....hmmmm perhaps they should have their own radio station 12 - 17.00 hrs on race days.... food for thought, sponsored by BIDVEST of course !

Bubby the guy told me that regular listners(to 702) were complaining as they did not enjoy the wait while a race was being run and had no interest in the game

I think the local broadcasting authority is very strict on broadcast rights etc and many punters have no internet so streaming would serve nought

off this topic,but ive heard on Sundays newsreport on the radio station Bubby named,that Phumelela has lost the broadcast rights for UK racing.
anyone?????
