The pools today are shocking across the boards.....
I think it is safe to say that we can never have two meetings on a Sunday (I know it was not planned)
What I can also safely say is that SA should go back to how things where.
2 big meetings on a Saturday and leave Sunday for the oldies to go to church, the young people to sleep late after a big night out and everybody else to enjoy their aunty's good sunday lunch!!!
AND I'M NOT EVEN THAT OLD!!!!!!!
LOL

Overall quite interesting excersize for the operators to take note of. Kenilworth as a standalone had decent turnover on the pick6 and probably did well overall. The guys at GC must have been excited by the prospect of a successful weekend in terms of GC races to turnover ratio.
Unfortunately Scottsville has fallen flat and the Pick6 pool is similar to what you would get on a Cape saturday meeting. What does this tell us. Simple the same people are feeding these pools. No new blood. Therefore, it is difficult to pull anymore out of the same, limited group of players and pool of money.
I guarantee you half of the punters in the tote dont give a &^*#@ whether Dettori is riding at Turfies or E Kiptoo is riding a crocodile in Ngong. Just looking at the race card stuck on the wall. This is what the pool is built on. It should be built on racing and again I call for the sporting aspect to be promoted.

One way to get E Kiptoo and his Ngong crocodile out of the equation is to not cover it. The two cents of betting on that rubbish will be spent on other races anyway.

The Ngong ambulance has gone missing. Hopefully not because E Kiptoo was eaten by his mount. Dangerous things, crocodiles.

Good one Magic - Dbl lol
To be fair to Scottsville's T/over, the local races are on top of eachother which has probably cost the pools quite a bit at Scotts

Dynamite Mike again over a short distance. Eastexpo said that owners were expecting a big run last time. Will follow again. Nice price
