THE RAIN IS HERE, AND IT LOOKS PRETTY GLOOMY.CANT SEE IT HAPPENING TODAY COS THERE WILL BE NO IMPROVEMENT IN THE WEATHER.

mornings guys it doesnt look like racing today the rain is too heavy and what do u guys say about flamingo park that let the crazy horses loose the first time i see a c/o pa guys and play with caution xtra cash

I am about 10kms from Durbanville,only really starting raining about an hour ago,small drizzle before that.It is apparently coming down much harder in the southern suburbs.

Don't see a problem racing @ this stage,unless visibility becomes a problem.A lot more rain is due later though,so we'll just have to see what happens.

I was @ Tyger Valley 2 hours ago,and that is only about 3kms from the course and it wasn't even raining there @ that stage.

Apparently Gc leaking about 2 bar a month,so maybe it actually suites them to cancel this meeting with small fields which produce less t/o

jap several times during the year their is no midweek meeting in cape town and i find this strange considering you know you going to lose meetings in winter due to weather

Very few meetings have been lost in CT this year.GC seems more resolute than ever to race.Tracks seem to be holding up well too
