Freedom of Speech comes to mind. Whatever you may or may not think of their opinions, it would be a sad reflection on their bosses' attitude in this day and age if they were gagged like dissidents in the old SA or the former USSR.

perhaps, but it's also a perfectly valid condition of someone's employment that they not bring their employer into disrepute, whether or not they are acting in a personal or professional capacity.

Greenbook, the inherent assumption in your statement that TT presenters would have bad things to say about their employer if they were allowed to post on forums rather says it all about TT, does it not?

Maybe they just want to post tips or get involved in healthy discussions, but let's gag them because we just know they are are going to slate us?

huh. i hadn't made that assumption magic, but that may be what is feared if indeed a ban has been imposed.

my comment was simply to observe what is usually regarded as an adequate measure, perhaps backed up in the case of companies that are in the public eye with reminders or guidance to staff as to what would be acceptable and what would not.

given the amount of time i waste reading this forum, i sometimes wish my employer would prohibit me too!
