As well as we have done this series I have to say that there have been some disappointments over and above the obvious ones like McKenzie.

Kallis and Amla have made starts virtually every time but have failed to kick on and the former really threw his wicket away this morning.

I hope we do not have to find out (in the home series) how we perform without Smith as I don't think we will like the answer.
