Thanks guys, hope things go well for Strategic News in Dubai as I still own a share in him and as for Citizen Dante, well we have battled to get work in over the past 10 days due to continous rain so he will be running fresh and off base fitness from throughout the year so more hopeful than confident as we were last year...!

Another thing, these forums are suppose to be for the positive of racing. You guys continously slate Phumelela and the RA but I think the change and positive of racing in South Africa should start with us who love the game and then move forward with the authorities. There are always going to be unhappy parties but if we dont do something positive ourselves its unfair to expect Ph and RA to do the same! The old saying... PRACTISE WHAT YOU PREACH! Thats where our website comes into play from our side at Cunha Racing. A website is a costly as well as a timeous thing which trust me causes lots of frustration but we are doing it simply to try and make racing in our stable more fun for our patrons. We make no money whatsoever from it as we give a free eachway tip and free PA daily. It is there for owners to look at daily and get stables general info and news as well. We are always thinking of positive ways to move forward nd bring new clients to the game even though we are sour about a lot of things in the game and belive me we have had our fair share of back stabbings from all aspects of the game and have been shafted once to many from all heights of people in racing... Never the less we are still here and will still be for a long time and as most of you live, eat and sleep racing and therefore we continously try to remain positive and make a positive contribution. I encourage you to do the same.

One more thing... It is interesting to know that 90% of my owners in the stable are new people to racing introduced by my father and I and we have worked hard to get them to invest in a game with a bad reputation with no reward or thank you or help from any party in racing. Trust me we have paid our dues and put everything we have into the game and let me tell you no one in racing has lifted a finger to help, nevertheless we do it because we are positive about racing in SA and encourage you to take the same views and be more positive and get racing going forward.

An excellent post Dylan - and like me you certainly regard the glass half full -not empty.

Which although won't stop crap from happening - it certainly keeps things into perspective, and thereby helps you get over stuff sooner.

We all know there are a 1001 things wrong with life - let alone Horseracing, but I believe you have to pick your battles and not sweat every single hassle - lol!

Not to say that there aren't some issues that need addressing. I just think that ultimately - like all problems, it's not until all involved put their personal differences aside to find common ground that anything will be resolved.
