Guys heard Nico say yesterday that Gavin Lerena has lost his lucrative job with the van Vuuren/Werners yard.

Does anybody know the reason why?

Where there is smoke, there is fire..

Not riding on any of the JJvV horses at Turffontein today.

He is however riding a L Werners horse in the 9th.

Dont think major impact to Lerena if he has stopped riding for Van Vuuren yard

I see Andrew Fortune is working in the van Vuuren yard.

Could he be the next stable jockey. I know he was waiting on getting his licence renewed.
