I think a card of two halves - first 5 races look pretty straight-forward imo - from the 6th it gets tricky
R1: Ripple Effect looks too good - Komesans Passion to set the pace and may run 2nd
R2: Statesman finding the market support - comment from the stable though that he is temperamental - so who knows - could be a quick Fortune / Munger double, as Heirloom has had a few tries, but the 1000 may be a touch sharp for Rose Tinted on breeding
R3: Who will stay the 3000 - I think Monsieur Chevelle can make use of his weight, but even Go Dream Machine can surprise
R4: For me Radu the right one on form; Secret Recipe may improve, but that's guesswork, while Broadlands has had many tries and Keep the Fort seems moderate
R5: Free Movement looks too good - may get a touch far back from the draw, but should run then down imo
R6: Gets a little tricky from here imo; Fur Baby ran ok last time, but Stratospheric did that form no favors on Thursday; I think Batik will be right there; Mix the Magic I think prefers shorter, while Tiz Magic could be a danger if she gets the trip; Maboneng scraped in last time (great ride) and that form looks decidedly moderate
R7: Not easy; Rozara has a good draw and likes this track and trip so must have chance for the new stable, but none of these can be ignored
R8: Tricky again; Tayooba probably needed her last run a bit, has won at this track and has pole position; Smith and Wesson won well last time and has won at Greyville around the turn over 1000, so should also be right there from a fair draw; as per the betting, Covert Operator probably next best, while Looking Hot has to overcome a dicey draw
R9: Again not easy imo; Beaded Gown has the form, but the draw is not in her favor, so I prefer the chances of Time for Charity, who should hold Camerata on form; Convocation fair last win and can't be ignored; while No Time Is Taken has a tricky draw but like Beaded Gown, must have a chance on form
Enjoy

on top of this... he's just had a winner in R 2
can he have a 4 x timer on the day ?

Can't say I fancy this card today.
The one interesting horse is Positive Attitude in Race 3, who Soma said in the post-race interview last time wants 3200m and who he expects to be a feature winner. Surely that means he should be able to follow up in a D Division? Price hardly mouth-watering though.

Khumalo double, races 3 and 4.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
