The reason I mentioned Fort Erie and Finger Lakes is because their handle/pools per meeting is not large. It can be compared to South Africa. Fort Erie, Win Pools, sometimes only reack $6k. That's like about 90k to 120k depending on the exchange rate.

Just to note that Fort Erie is the venue for the second leg of the Canadian Triple Crown. Its unique because the first leg is on Tapeta/artificial surface and the last leg on Turf. It's restricted to Canadian breeds only though.

Hi Naresh
We have looked at systems in Europe, Scandinavia and the USA. There are many factors that we have had to considered, including but not limited too:
- Infrastructure requirements,
- Software, hardware and support thereof,
- Cloud and Connectivity requirements,
- Information integrity and accuracy,
- API integrations,
- Ownership Model (Lease, Rental, Own),
- Service Level Agreement,
- Training,
- Short & Longterm Cost (especially given the volatility of our Rand against the Euro, Dollar or Sterling)…

Traxmeet is Finish based company which originally started as the world’s leading hunting dog tracking company, with the first GPS tracking units being developed over 20 years ago. Prior to this, telemetry tracking units were utilised from 1977 (45 years of tracking experience).

•Traxmeet currently offers their sport tracking solution (orienteering, rally driving, cycling, sailing, etc.) over most of Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

•The first horse racing system, fully developed in Finland, was introduced 2016 and is currently operational in Finland, Estonia and the UK. Over the years, there have been three different product generations for horse racing.

We are hopeful our full race test tomorrow will yield the right results and that we receive positive feedback from all. We will keep you posted…

What format will be used in tracking the horses during the race. Will it be like Hong Kong or Saratoga, USA. I prefer Saratoga as it gives the tracking of all the horses plus the odds of the leading runners. Also it shows you when your horse is passing a runner, being overtaken, if its on the inside or outside, how far its behind the leader, etc. The Swedish tracking is almost similar.
