Again terribly sorry for all the owners, trainers, jockeys etc.

I am not disputing the safety aspect but this is a killer for all racing interests.

I have no idea of stats world wide but are we not a bit over cautious????

Quite impressive Ocean Warrior - double for the stable and the jock and Coup de Grace :ohmy: - I thought he was a sprinting sire :dry:

The dam is by Silvano, so plenty stamina that side.
Regarding Coup de Grace- he is by Tapit which was best over a mile, and his dam also a miler. He only raced to age 3 and won up to 1400m, but quite possible he would have gone a mile himself if he had been kept racing at 4.
The trainers have generally raced his progeny early and considered them as sprinters, but it’s likely that he is more versatile than just a sprinting sire.
