R6 THE MAKWAKKERS 6,5 / 1 I think is worth an e/way.....Overdue his 4th WIN.... taking on the fav. ( only a 1 time winner - filly at that ! ) with HOT Rachael in the irons

Usual mix of a a few races where the de Kock hotties should take a lot of beating, mixed with some really tough races - thoughts :

R2: Very tough - I'm loading up

R3: Maboneng my preference from Willow Lane

R4: Safe Passage steps up in trip - to me very short in the market and were it not for the stable smashing all before it, I'd be tempted to take him on - Our Coys and Willow's Wish the main dangers imo - Back to Black needs to show he gets the trip

R5: Appies get their chance - tough race but Flying Grace has a lot going for him imo

R6: Classified Stakes again for the appies - another tough race where anything can pop up

R7: F&M handicap - I think Elusive Woman can follow up at these weights; Patons Tears biggest danger imo but has to give EW 10 kgs

R8: Another F&M Handicap - for me Java House good value; Tallinn biggest danger, while I prefer Terra Time to Hollywoodbound at the weights - but both these may need a run or two
