How did LH do in HK when he wasn’t riding for the one of the largest stables?

sorry...and I forgot S'Manga K...
but, I hear what you say...I would be extremely foolish to say he is not a good jockey...

Nobody will ever be able to explain to me why Grant didn’t have more mounts today.

Why - should he?, you tell us seeing you know the answer.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Well for starters he has been winning Group 1 races such as Cape Derby and Queens Plate for stables he doesn’t get first choice of mounts, plus low bottom weight easily.

Watched his rides at Fairview on Friday. The 4 to 10 Fav just couldn't go on with it . Left with too much to do, hits a flat spot 100m out.
IMHO the HK riding style of hold up and then pump flat out into the final 300 won't work here in SA.
It's very difficult to emulate the Head Waiter Garth Puller and Striker Strydom and how they brought their mounts through to get up late.
Just the way I see things.

Another 4 winners for Grant today, can you imagine if he got choice of mounts from the likes of Bass and Snaith.

correct. muis roberts definitely the best jockey ever to come out of south africa, with strydom a definite second. big fan of ryan moore but frankie is definitely better. showed him a clean pair of heels in the 1000 guineas

on that note i cannot understand why so many ballydoyle elects get run over in the classics, moore is beaten more often than not by the stable third jockey or in this case frankie. does he pick his rides or does aiden tell him who to ride. maybe c and c could enlighten me
