A bullet like Strydom should know better than that.No matter what you can't hit another jockey with your whip.
He will get banned for sure.

Won't be back till after we get the 55, throw in a course of anger management in with it too. Very upsetting indeed

I won't boycott because it would be condoning something (what PS did) that is wrong...he decided to retaliate on the assumption that what MY did was deliberate...
Better solution would be to let the authorities deal with it...MY for failure to keep mount under control and PS for assault...

Agree with your first sentence as he has been involved in a few incidents but paid the penalties that the authorities dished out to him...
But what PS did was wrong and yet some fellow Clanners are almost gleeful that he struck MY...sad...

Muzi is the friend of the punter.
Great to see him ride for Candice Dawson again.

TNaicker, would this discussion be any different to you if we had Lyle Hewitson retired injured after the now infamous MY incident? I hear where you are coming from, though I'd say to suggest anyone is gleeful about it happening is a bit of a stretch. This should not have happened in the first place, and only happened because of MY refusing to attempt getting his mount under control in the first place, continuing to ride vigorously all the while lugging into Striker dangerously. And let's not kid ourselves here, we have many people claiming the whip is soft as a feather on a horse, what striker did was reactionary in the heat of the race finish, to get a madly lugging Muzi off him, and is a VERY far cry from attempting to push a jockey off his mount in the back straight off a long distance race at sunny Greyville.

As ‘n ou eerlik moet wees................
Baie ouens wil Muzi al seker gebliksem het?
Maar, ek gaan nog baie geld wen op hom in die toekoms. (Touch wood).
Hopelik sommer in die lucky last vandag.
