Liquid was a good outsider earlier in the day!

.....had that too....R53 swinger IN small field was a gr8 start to the day.....no P6 today but had the field in JP....

It won so you vindicated,but in all honesty if it wasn't for utter incompetence in the saddle,the winner was Christopher Robin.

i know Turffontein is not Greyville but really the amount of times I see jocks 3 or 4 wide around the bend at the Kzn track is amazing - before you hit the straight you are lighting fires with your tickets - are they just poor riders or sheep?

1/3 sheep 1/3 poor riders and 1/3 riding to instructions.
How do you think the trainers manipulate the merit rating?
Easiest thing to do is tell the jock to run an extra 50m and they will never be questioned by the stipes.

Really poor to see jocks not knowing the natural pace of their mounts...and racing for position that they cannot attain...or even worse...dropping them out but losing multiple lengths because they feel that they don't have to jump...

as you know their punts hardly come off - I rather think Kzn Racing including presenters(barring Peters Deez and Hawkins) is very moderate in all aspects

With the training facilities available to them you would think KZN trainers would clean up the feature races.
Horses come from the same sale yet the ones that end up in KZN don't seem to fulfill their potential.Very seldom do we get a KZN horse winning the big features.
We used to but the last 10 or so years we definitely have fallen behind.
