Say what you want, the refitting of the shoe DEFINITELY stopped Twice as Smart in its tracks today. TT was even showing the refitting then cut away to a shot of grooms standing around when the horse started playing up during the refitting.

Horses that need shoes refitted need to be scratched. No way this horse could run so badly. I want people that studied this horse's chances today to let me know if they think the horse ran to its form?

If you read the stipes reports you will see that there are many cases of shoes cast or spread in the running, in addition to those you are counting prior to the start.
