It's amazing how important it is to keep the money rolling at all costs and yet the oversight, transparency and responsibility is never measured or accounted for in my opinion.

Is this the same Johnsson that sponsors a load of race days?
Hope he doesn`t focus on the WC going forward

Bob, he owns and races in KZN as well, however, where and how many he owns and races is not relevant as he is a member of Gold Circle. The last time i looked there wasn't a particular type of membership that differentiated anyone, in fact you never have to own a horse to be a Gold Circle member.
Maybe the scrutiny being afforded Nic Johnsson needs to extended to board members and contractors at Gold Circle revealing how much they have earned for 10 years. As far as I know Nic hasn't earned a cent in remuneration from GC and I am sure if he has through work wear I am sure it pales in comparison to his sponsorship.
I have never met Nic Johnsson however I fail to see that what he has asked for is either unreasonable or not deliverable?
There are various options;
1. Temporary relaxation of certain points of the Constitution
2. A ring fenced amount and follow up vote for more funding
3. A structured staggered approach with follow up membership meetings and votes
Why all or nothing at the 11th hour? This vote is to change the Constitution so my question is how would the members change it back after this event?

By the way, anyone can become a Gold Circle member. If you want to take control then sign up 1000 members that will cost you R2.5 million roughly. Get them to sign all their proxy's over to you and then vote whoever you like onto the board.
